A growing body of research suggests that an overuse of screen time can have a negative impact on educational excellence, online student safety, and student development and behavior. The LHCS Technology Committee is committed to researching best practices in technology, educating parents, increasing transparency, and advocating with district leadership, with the goal of improving the way technology and screens are used in our schools.
Want to know more about how technology is used at school? The Technology Committee and LHCS Principals have created a one-page flyer that summarizes technology and screen time use at Lake Harriet.
Any questions regarding classroom screen-use should be directed to the Principals, Dr. Angie Ness and/or Walter Schleisman.
